I also remember stories of Paddington Bear. Once there was a give away at the Sears store in Ala Moana. The winner would get a 6-foot-tall Paddington Bear. It was on display in the store. While I thought it looked really cool, I wondered what you would do with something that big.

My Mom loved to tell the stories about Paddington Bear from "deepest darkest Peru." It's fun that she was able to get a picture with him. : )
